Venelin Bochev is a recent graduate in Political Science from the Free University of Brussels. Despite his young age, Venelin has experience as a research consultant and trainee assistant at the United Nations Development Programme and European Parliament. Additionally, in his home region, the Balkans, Venelin has interned at a Serbian think-tank and is currently on the board of a Bulgarian youth think-tank. Knowledgeable in five languages, Bulgarian, English, French, Russian and Serbian, he intends to pursue a career as an international civil servant. Paradoxically, since 2018, throughout his experience with Asteroid Day, Venelin has ensured that an awareness and educational program dedicated to astronomical objects in space runs smoothly on the ground.
