Philippine Griveaud is now a doctor in Astrophysics, having earned her PhD in October 2024. While pursuing her undergraduate degree in Physics at the University of Luxembourg, she interned for Asteroid Day for three consecutive years (2017, 2018, and 2019). Inspired by the people she met during that time, she pursued a Master’s degree in Astrophysics at the Observatory of the Côte d’Azur. She went on to complete her doctoral research there, focusing on the formation of our Solar System.
Since early 2025, she has been continuing her research as a postdoctoral fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy. Her work focuses on understanding how the planets in our Solar System formed, a topic she finds both fascinating and rewarding. She is also deeply committed to inspiring young girls to pursue science and actively supports efforts to promote gender equality in STEM.
