Martine Reicherts graduated in Business Law in 1980 in Paris. was a Luxembourg European Commissioner and served as the European Union’s Director-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture until her retirement in 2018.
In February 2018, she became a member of the Board of Directors at the Central Bank in Luxembourg. She then became President of the national fund for Research in Luxembourg (FNR) in December 2019, and is also currently President of the Board of Mediahuis Luxembourg.
