Asteroid Day is looking for studio audience members for Asteroid Day LIVE on Friday, 30th June
Be the very first audience to see the brand new state of the art RTL City studios!
Learn from astronauts and asteroid experts on the 30th June in Luxembourg!
On the 30th June we are bringing the first ever 24-hour broadcast about space and asteroids – Asteroid Day LIVE – to Luxembourg.
6 hours of this programme will be recorded and broadcast live from the new state of the art RTL City studios on Kirchberg, from 12:00 PM to 6.00 PM (12:00-18:00). If you’ve always wanted to attend a TV broadcast in studio and see astronauts, astrophysicists and asteroid experts from up close, this is your chance to do so!
We are looking for audience members for this exclusive event, moderated by BBC legend Brian Cox and The Guardian science writer Stuart Clark!
Attending the broadcast is completely FREE, in return we are just asking for the following:
- Be prepared to sit in the audience for one or more of the 2-hour segments
- Be willing to be filmed on camera and have your image shared with millions of viewers
- Wear shoes that are for walking and don’t make noise (e.g. no high heels for women!)
- Be there at least 30 minutes prior to the broadcast
- Follow instruction from staff
- Be respectful and polite with our speakers
Once in the RTL City building, you will wait in the reception area and be called to the studio waiting area by one of our floor managers. From the studio waiting area you are going to be ushered into the studio.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide catering to audience members, but you have the option to bring your own packed lunch or purchase food from the RTL City Café.
As parking space at RTL City is very limited, we recommend getting there by public transport. The closest bus stop is located at “Kirchberg, Léon Thyes” and is reachable by line 18. The studio itself is located at 43, Boulevard Pierre Frieden, L-1543 Luxembourg. This is what the building looks like.
If you are interested and want to attend, please fill out this Google form in order to register. Depending on demand we may not be able to accommodate everyone! We will contact you with confirmation of your attendance and information prior to the broadcast.
If studio audiences are not for you but still want to watch our exciting broadcast, you can do so from the Asteroid Day LIVE page!
