Asteroid Day is an official United Nations day of education and awareness that aims to inspire the world about asteroids – their role in the formation of our universe, how we can use their resources in the future, how asteroids can pave the way for future exploration and finally how we can protect our planet from asteroid impacts. Asteroid Day’s key program is Asteroid Day LIVE from Luxembourg, a 48-hour streaming global broadcast dedicated entirely to space. Leveraging our science, technology, policy, entertainment, and business supporters, the broadcast will bring expert panels, speakers, and programs from global space organisations to a global audience of over 10 million. The past lineup of renowned scientists, astronauts, and visionaries include:
