 Nicolas has two decades of experience during which he successfully infused a wide spectrum of AI related approaches (machine learning, data mining, operations research) into real world products.

He currently holds a position of Chief Architect Data, AI & Edge Computing at Thales Alenia Space.

One of his current key responsibilities is to structure the AI roadmap of the company.

He has spent the past 2,5 years leading the development of edge AI capabilities for future earth observation environmental and defense programs.

Prior to joining Thales Alenia Space, he has spent a decade at Amadeus, the main technology platform for the global travel industry.

There, he pioneered (in 2010) and led the development of machine learning and analytics applications to flight search optimization at a massive scale.

Bringing double digit improvements to key metrics such as conversion, relevance, response time, hardware consumption.

 He has (co-)authored 10 publications in International Journal & conferences and holds 3 patents in the fields of AI,ML, and Computer Vision.

 Nicolas holds a Ph.D in Computer Vision (2005) prepared at INRIA Sophia Antipolis, France and a M.Sc. from Université de Technologie de Compiègne, France.
