Inês Antunes

Inês Antunes is the Human Research Lead and Science Coordinator at the European Space Agency (ESA), within the Directorate of Human and Robotic Exploration (HRE). She plays a central role in coordinating astronaut health research conducted both in space and in ground-based analogue environments, collaborating closely with the scientific community and ESA’s astronaut medical teams. Inês also contributes to the strategic planning and implementation of ESA’s human research programme, helping to advance scientific understanding essential to human spaceflight and future exploration missions.
