Edgar Milic

Edgar is a passionate executive and Space enthusiast, with 25 years experience in the Space, technology and governmental sectors. He currently holds the position of Managing Director at GomSpace Luxembourg, a global leader in small satellites solutions, providing products in more than 60 countries worldwide. Before joining GomSpace, he held the position of Chief Executive Officer at OHB LuxSpace, leading the team through an impressive 3 years turnaround. Previously, Edgar had leadership roles in business innovation, corporate development, business development and venture capital funding at SES Satellites, one of the largest satellite operators worldwide. Earlier in his career, Edgar worked as project manager for Earth Observation and Simulation projects at GMV and served as officer in the Italian Air Force. He holds a MSc in Aerospace Engineering from Rome University La Sapienza, an Executive Master in Business Administration from IE business school and certificates from Harvard Business School, INSEAD, as well as other institutions. A start-up mentor and former advisory board member of the Seraphim Space Fund, Edgar has lectured at Luxembourg University in Space business and Entrepreneurship and is the proud father of three kids.
