In June 30, the anniversary of the Tunguska event which marks the largest and most violent impact of an asteroid in the recent past the Earth in 1908, the first “”is Asteroid Day “”(Asteroidentag) held. The asteroid Day is a global movement, in which participants can learn more about asteroids and also learn how to protect our planet, our families and future generations. The asteroid-Day was founded among others by Queen guitarist and astrophysicist Dr. Brian May doctorate. More than 100 astronauts, scientists and artists (eg Richard Dawkins, Brian Cox, Chris Hadfield) who Asteroid Day Declaration signed. But what are these asteroids? Where are you from? And when will the next strike to the earth? On all these issues, there will be on June 30 in the two demonstrations in German and in the two demonstrations in Italian South Tyrol in the planetarium an answer.
