Discover a world of innovation and exploration at our STEM-friendly school.
We are committed to providing students with exciting opportunities to delve into the fascinating realms of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, and to combine scientific theory with hands-on practice through an extraordinary school projects.
Therefore, we are launching a weather balloon to the stratosphere.
With minimal resources, our students will construct their own research probe and use a helium-filled weather balloon to send small cameras, experiments, and measuring devices into the stratosphere. They will conduct experiments at an altitude of 40,000 meters, which is three times higher than airplanes fly. This endeavor will allow them to obtain spectacular video footage and measurement data from an environment where the blackness of space and the blue of our planet become visible. This STEM activity demonstrates that science is more than mere theory—it can be experienced and exciting!
