Asteroid Day Calgary
While we are celebrating Asteroid Day, as always, as an Independent Event Producer, Private Party, strictly by invitation Only. This is an 18+ event.
This year we will focus on Space Safety Systems, as well as Systems for disaster management and Risk Mitigation; using both ground and space based systems for tracking. We will also look at the Minor Planet website, for informing about NEO (Near Earth Asteroids) as well as Planetary Observations. We will also tune into an Online Broadcast / WebCast for the Asteroid Day event and Podcast.
This is an 18+ event with followed by an open conversation about peaceful space exploration and planetary defence. If there is a live stream from Asteroid Day, we will tune into it as well. Weather dependent, some of US might take the event outside for a camping trip, for the super long weekend. Once again, the camping and outdoor field trip are part of the Asteroid Day event. Also a trip to the local Tyrell Museum, in Drumheller; for a look at real Dinosaur, and ongoing field work and overview., among others. I recommend all, to bring their own field telescopes, and other viewing aids for star viewing.
