The Astronomical Institute of the Romanian Academy celebrates Asteroid Day starting at 9 pm on June 30th, 2018. We invite you to see how many asteroids were discovered until now and to see how an asteroid look from nearby.
After 10 pm you can actually see a few Near Earth Minor planets in images taken live with our instruments. We will observe with the public five minor planets and a comet.

22 – 00 – Live astronomical observations, five Near Earth asteroids and a comet
