The Virtual Telescope Project enables people to have their very own astronomical experience online. It uses a very powerful set of real robotic telescopes to broadcast a live image of the sky. By using these telescopes and studying the placement of the stars in the sky, the Virtual Telescope Project has managed to determine the exact date that Van Gogh painted Nuit étoilée

Gianluca has hosted numerous Asteroid Day events through the Virtual Telescope Project. In 2017 Gianluca made his first visit to Asteroid Day in Luxembourg where he was the host for our virtual conversations on ADLIVE. Since then he has returned for ADLIVE in 2018 and 2019
