Earlier this year, Asteroid Day partners, Association of Space Explorers (ASE) released a series called “The Space Explorers Guide to Isolation: Tips on Staying Grounded While Spacing Out.” This series features tips from astronauts and explorers including SpaceConnectsUs speaker and ESA astronaut Tim Peake, Asteroid Day LIVE speaker Tom Jones, and more on how to deal with isolation in space, which is similar to what many in the world are now facing as they quarantine to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

“You’re in a very abnormal situation. But the routine of your day-to-day life, having that structure and that schedule, keeps everything on track, and it means that you can achieve what you set out to achieve.” – Tim Peake, ESA astronaut
