Robin Ince is the co-presenter (w/ Professor Brian Cox) of BBC Radio 4’s Infinite Monkey Cage, recent winner of the Sony Gold award for factual programmes and the ABSW science writing award. An enthusiast rather than a specialist, he has created a variety of events celebrating the written word, science and philosophy including The Book Club, 9 lessons and carols for Godless People and Uncaged Monkeys. His aim is to create events where the uninitiated can be inspired. As a stand up comedian he has won the Time Out Outstanding achievement award, three Chortle awards and was nominated for Best Live show at the British Comedy Awards.He has presented documentaries on Schrodinger’s Cat, Bertrand Russell, the decline of popular music and numerous other subjects for the BBC. His first book, Robin Ince’s Bad Book Club was published in 2010 by Little Brown. His first feature length screenplay, Razzle Dazzle, was released in 2007 and opened the New York Children’s film festival.
