Annually on June 30th we celebrate UN Asteroid Day. Popular scientific lectures and discussions on asteroids and meteoritics related topics will take place all day starting from 12:00 to 22:00. This year we will discuss about treats of asteroids, meteorite craters, naked eye visibility of the biggest asteroid 4 Vesta during its current opposition, meteorites from Vesta group and other questions. At the end of the evening the film “51 Degree North” will be screened.
This event is aimed for general public of all ages.
