The Astronomical Studies Group of Iguaraçu (Grupo de Estudos Astronômicos de Iguaraçu – (GEAI) in partnership with Asteroid Day and Asteroid Day Brazil, International Astronomical Union (IAU / UAI), UN and UN Brazil, etc, will be carrying out an activity related to International Asteroid Day in which we will teach to all people in general the practical and theoretical contents with the lectures and also if the time collaborate with us we will make a Public Astronomical Observation of the Sun and the Moon, of the Planets (Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune), Double and Solitary Stars, Open and Globular Star Clusters, Galaxies, Nebulae, and especially Asteroids. Come and participate in this activity with us for the sake of scientific dissemination here in our county and in the region where it belongs, where we will teach you about all these celestial bodies that are part of our Solar System and the Universe as well.

NOTE: In case of rain or totally cloudy sky, the astronomical observation of the evening and of the night is automatically postponed, but the event continues, although it is hot or cold during this transition from autumn to winter, it is good to wear or wear warm clothing, cold nights and dawns), hydration and repellents during the activity that we will perform of one of the biggest astronomical events of the year 2019.
