Saturday, June 29, in recognition of International Asteroid Day (June 30), the anniversary of the Tunguska air burst over Siberia in 1908, Fernbank Science Center will be showing a special line up of planetarium shows sure to make an impact! Andat 1:00 p.m. we will have a special free talk about meteorites presented by Dave Gheesling from the Meteorite Association of Georgia (MAG). MAG members also will be on-hand to show off meteorites and impact rocks. And members of the Atlanta Astronomy Club will be around to talk telescopes. Maybe we’ll see a fireball in the sky?
