Once you have an idea of what kind of event you want to put on, register it on the Asteroid Day website. This is the most important step of the entire process, because the event page will promote the details of your event with other Asteroid Day event organisers and the general public. Once registered, we encourage you to update your event page, as often as possible, to ensure your audience receives updated information. Your event page should follow the Asteroid Day guidelines, but don’t be afraid to give it your own flare.
The three-step registration guide will help you setup your event page. It will also provide you with tips on how to produce a page that really highlights your event.
Asteroid Day is a global awareness campaign where people from around the world come together to learn about asteroids, the impact hazard they may pose, and what we can do to protect our planet, families, communities, and future generations from future asteroid impacts. Asteroid Day is held each year on the anniversary of the largest impact in recent history, the 1908 Tunguska event in Siberia. Subscribe to our Mailing list
